Life has its ups and downs. Always fun to be kept on your toes.

I've had a lot more lazy days not doing much in particular, awaiting the day my brace comes of.
My list of things to do is gradually getting shorter, not helped by the fact I keep adding things to it.

It now stands:
Tidy my room
Do flute, harp and piano practice(piano urgently)
Do theory
Arrange variouse town trips
Finish my letter to Auntie Jean
Finish my romantic novel for school
Write up another story I wrote when I was younger
Do some excersise
Cook
Sew up curtains

I think I have enough to be getting on with, so I shall go do some of it.

Re posting

Hello
I've decided to restart this blog, doing it now is quite funny because i'll be in exactly the same situation I was in last time I posted.

Except the 1 added bonus is my brace is coming off a 7.30 in the morning on the 10th of September, shame i can't go back to school with it off, but never mind. At least it's finally coming off, and I can get on with my grade 6 flute. Flute is fun. I like twiddling about and it sounds really nice too. Piano isn't so good. I'm thinking of stopping piano after I do my grade 3 at CHristmas. I no everyone says I will regret it but I just don't get the thrill out of playing it like i did in the beggining. I don't have good coordination and I spend my time getting things wrong even if I try. I'm probably going to start singing instead. I will enjoy that more. I love singing. It's something that doesn't involved unpacking something or moving all the furniture in the living room to get to the piano since Emma's Xylophone came. You can sing anywhere too.
I'm also relearning the folk harp since when we were in Sidmouth we came across a gorgeouse harp that had pegs and more strings then the current one has and sounds good too. (More about Sidmouth in a minute) It turn out it was so cheap because it was Shop-... whatever the word is. Where it had just been standing round in a shop for ages so had a couple of scratches on it. It already looks fine but with a little bit of beaswax it will be fine.

Onto Sidmouth.
Great fun camping out for a weak. Started of with just us 5. We drove of in the car, and guess what, half an hour later
The car broke down. Not so fun. Lots of troublesome arguments and phonecalls ensued. I got to ride a recovery vehicle back to Cambridge which adds to my list of transport I've been on. We stayed the night at home-which was interesting is the only way I can describe it. Then the next morning more phonecalls to the AA trying to sort out a way we could get to bristol as the car wouldn't be ready for a while because ther were about 6 things wrong with it. It ended up that Me, Ruthie and Mum took a train straight to Sidmouth, we missed out Bristol, and Dad and Em went in a van with all the camping gear and stuff for 2 weeks in it.
So an eventful journey.
Life got a little quiter when we got there, putting up the tent in the dark was quite fun! :p
As the SIdmouth FOlk Festival started we were joined by 5 more freinds of ours, the Chadwicks and another seperate person freindly with all 10 of us, Jen. I got progressivly more freindly with Heather, a year older then me, through 4 baby sitting evenings when every one else was out dancing and at concerts. At the welcome concert the next day we met up with two more freinds Joy and Fiona who making us 13. The welcome concert was brilliant and we didn't know who would would be having the 15 minute slot first or the longer slot second. It was very close between Spooky ens Chorale and SHow of Hands, both are excellent. But th eSPooky Men one on this and got the far longer slot. After having met the spooky men the week before at a concert and the Junction and last year a Towersey folk festival and again in Cambridge (which we hope will become a yearly occurance as they do tours in England every year- Were taking them punting next year. )I was already quite freindly and chatty with them, but Emma became great freinds with the leader Steve who is very cool. She ended up stealing his hat and we have some exellent pictures of it. lol.
The week progresses with excellent Caelidhs, concerts and I took part in a Sing with Carolyn Robson Choir, which was excellent because she is an amazing singer and gave us lots of good tips on our singing, posture, breathing and so on.
I finally went to Late Night Extra(a caelidh at the top of the hill from the campsite that was officially 11-1 but always went on much longer every night) with Jen as my adult because as im under 16 I have to go with an adult, and no adult had wanted to go all night. I saw some excellent rapper and morris men.
Another great thing in the week would have to be the Caelidh in the ford. There is a ford that runs at the edge of sidmouth in which a section is roped of and in comes the Caelidh, I stayed on the dry side of the ford unfortunately because I would have loved to get soaked, but never mind, as I had a performance of the songs I had learnt. It was still fun though and Me, Mum, Rachael Chadwick and Jen eneded up doing Playford in the ford.
Another great aspect of the week was the amount of time I got to spend sun-bathing and getting a tan on the beach, which was awsesome. Theres still a hint of the tan left.lol :p
Later in the week a family of 4 joined us who I got to know very well so we finished of a brilliant 10 days with 17.
Anyway Im tired now and If I get to sleep soon I might be able to have more then 8 hours sleep, which I know is good, it's just that I am very tired at the moment and my body has decided to wake me between 8 and half past every day this week. It's very annoying actually. lol

Good night
Heather

Back to School

Hello...
Unfortunately ofr me i now have a brace which is very annoying and hurts a lot, but never mind., On to more happier things like School for instancence...
I've now had my first half week at school. First day was just a laugh. We got lots of paper and information, but then it was down to real lessons. Lessons are good. i have some really nice teachers. My favourite subject must be Russian. WHich is soooo cool. I wonder if thats anything to do with the chocolate our teacher gave out.......

i was also gunna tell you about our two holidays, one to cornwall and one to Towersey folk festival(in Oxfardshire). Cornwall was really fun. W did a lot of sightseeing, walking and eating ice cream. COIrnish ice cream is really nice. One of the days we went to spend haalf a day on a beach after looking at the best theatre in the world, the Minak-a theatre built out of the cliff face going out to see!-the waves were huge on the beach and I didn't really like them so I got out of the water after a while and didn't go back in again. I then entertained myself by building sandcastles and a sandboat with my hands.
Another of the dys, while Mum lkooked round art galleries in ST Ives, Dad me and emma went surfing!!! I wasn't that bad at it. We then went to join Mum in ST Ives to look orund some other art galleries. And the really nice thing about the holiday is that I came back really nice and brown!!!!

Towersey was also really good. i did a lot of singing and dancing and came across two excellent bands which I really recomend:Bellowhead and Folk Rock Band and The Spooky Mens Chorale- A brilliant humerouse chorus of 16 men singing seriouse funny songs. The camping part was also fun and we had some really nice company with Yvonne, emma and CHirs and the CHadwicks.

NowIv'e got to go to bed becuase it's like 10 o clock, so
night-night...

Hey

Hey.
Sorry about the repeating of the ast post about a billion times, my computer went funny.

Life is actually boring at the moment. Mums got a friend who i have never met before round and that meens she wants the lounge which meens i cant watch ther film i was watching.

I have done most things i possibly can.
i want to go outside but its raining and ium wearing a pretty skirt. I would change if i had anything to change into. Every single pair of my trousers is broken. but on the other hand i got some new clothes yesterday. Including the skirt, its a gourgeuse(sp sorry) greey-turquisy one, I got three blousy tops, im into them at the moment, a strappy top and some PJ's. I need soem more strappy tops and some trousers/shorts but im almost done.

The last couple of days have been fun, on wednesday Marianne came round, a friend form school and we went to see the new Pirates of the Carribbean, we were 2 of 6 in the hole cinema!, and then we went shopping. I boght some nice earings, clip ons cos i hate the idea of peircing holes in your body for fun. Then on friday i bought all those nice clothes and then in the evening Cammy and Fish, more frieds from school, came round and we camped in the garden. The night included over heating, playing consequences, monopaly and making a lot of noise Then Cammy fell asleep and me and Fish played more conseqeunces and followed headghogs round the garden. There is a mummy and a baby. We stroked and took pictures of ther baby but only watched the Mummy for a while. All the lighs went of at about 1:30. Even with this late night we managed to get up quiute early the next morning to randomnly chat, play games and watch Monty Python. Breakfast wads Eggy bread with chocolate spread/sugar(no one tried both together) and beans on toast.
Then we went into town and styed there for a couple of hours. We spent most of our time in borders playing games. You can have any game you want out to play which is so call. I also bought some new books.

Sun,moon and stars

Hi,
I havn't posted for ages so I thought it was time to do so.
Next week I have to start revsion which I am NOT lookin foreward to, i am v. glad that by the ime my exams finsh, Its half term lovely half term.
Last monday Me, Ruth&Emma planned a dinner for Mum to make up for the mess on mothering sunday, where she didn't have a proper day cos most people were ill. We phoned Victoria earlier in the morning and asked if she could invite Mum round for tea. She agreed. About 15 mins latert she phoned Mum and it was decided. Ihadn't seen Victoria and family for ages so decided to tag along. It was quite cool. I ended up playing all sorts of games form camping to dolls. We had tea of tea, and lots of cake. Mayoney is of dairy, soyer but is being tried on different products. In one of the cakes was egg which made her a bit hyper and annoyed easily at the end.
We got home, sending M&D of to lock up the church so we could do the final preperations for dinner. It turned out that R&E had started too late and most stuff wasn't ready. I quickl.y helped them with preperations and then set to making the starter=tomatoe and basil soup with croutons. Main=Duck+Veg Pudding=Ice cream+chocholate sauce. It was all deliceouse and it really made Mums day.
The weather has been very unexpectied this week if you listen to the news, it said it was going to be heavy rain all this week with high temperatures and sunny spells. Playing tennis on the courts at school in barefeat is v. painfull. Then groung gets boiling easily so if you want cooked feet just visit my school.
Did anyone see Doctor Who this week, it was so cool wans't it. I think so far my best episode has to be the School renunion with David Tennants line, Are we sitting comfortably.
As Anne usually says knitting news now, mine isn't really woking, its anout 30cm by 40 but changes every row.
if your wondering were the stick insect piccys are, I haven't managed to take any yet but will sometimes. The sticks are fine and I have played with them on my hands twice now!
I need to go to bed now so i will love you and leave you, night night..

Hi,
Isn't Ruth just sooo cute?
Today she was saying no to everything, when I got her inside it was no, when I asked her if she had liked her time at her childminders she said no and when I said are you sure to that, yes you've guessed it, she said no.
Well done Anne on finishing your Olympic Knitting Challange, both jumpers look really good.
School is cool, hey that rymes, I have 4 test's to revise for ,no that was yesterday, now I have three.
I have finally got my long awaited pet(s)-Stick insects! there are three, Bobie(Bobet), Chrisy(Christopher/Christina)
and Alex. They are all adorable but don't seem to be eating much. All they do is sit still.
Next time i'll give you a piccy of them.
